It's a Cussler Hustlers first, folks! Your hosts Topper and Nancy made friends with another real-life podcast, The Escapist Room! They're a brother and sister podcast who review the wonderful cheesy movies of their childhoods and the modern movies that give them that same feeling.
Since they do MOVIES and we do BOOKS, we're doing TWO CROSSOVERS, the first of which is THIS ONE RIGHT HERE! All four of us read Stone of Fire by J.F. Penn, a modern globetrotting archaeology action-adventure short novel written from a female perspective! It's certainly different than the Cussler fare we've reviewed so far, but is that enough to carry one woman's struggle to rescue her sister from at least one, possibly two, MAYBE three shadowy cabals intent on global destruction?

There's a lot of Oval Office shenanigans, KGB shenanigans, Korean shipping shenanigans, and I don't think Dirk is even IN this episode. Refreshing!
